Kenneth D. Rolfes has spent more than 30 years with public and private companies that design, manufacture, and market technically based products for the medical device, industrial product, and computer industries. He retains extensive lean enterprise experience in general management, new product development, cost management systems, turnarounds, acquisitions and divestitures, and various financial transactions including IPO, private equity, and venture capital financing. As a result, Mr. Rolfes has earned a reputation for turning around businesses and leading companies to record profitability and growth.

Mr. Rolfes has developed and executed a lean operating product and market expansion strategy that nearly doubled his company's revenues in three years, and led a different company to recognition by IndustryWeek in July 2002 as one of the top 25 best plants of the year. Mr. Rolfes serves as the Director of the Association for Manufacturing Excellence (AME), authors a lean manufacturing column for Modern Woodworking magazine, and has presented at various industry national conferences and workshops.
